DOCUMENTS & SEARCH

Technical information where the work happens.

Keep manuals, drawings and machine documentation alongside the equipment they belong to. A new revision never overwrites the old one, and the revision marked current is the one the plant issued.

  • Documents linked to the machine
  • Immutable revisions, one current

SCOPE BOUNDARIES

What UR Maintain is not.

Saying no is part of the design. A tool that claims all of this ends up doing none of it well.

Not an ERP

Not an ERP, MES or procurement suite

Not an ERP, not a manufacturing execution system, not a procurement ERP and not a payroll or HR suite. It runs the maintenance department, and it does that without requiring an ERP integration.

Not a control system

Not SCADA, HMI or a PLC tool

It is not a SCADA/HMI front end, not a PLC engineering suite and not a safety or control system. It sends no start, stop or reset command to any machine and implements no safety interlocks. Ever.

Not IoT

Not an IoT platform

No OPC-UA, no MQTT, no sensor fleet to install before the product works. Technicians report what happened at the machine, and the system makes that report cheap to file and impossible to lose.

Not prediction

No predictive maintenance, no invented OEE

It does not promise predictive maintenance, does not compute an automatic OEE figure and does not invent numbers to decorate a dashboard. Reliability insight comes from the failure history your team actually records.

No native apps

No separate iOS and Android apps

The field client is a web application installed from the browser, so it runs on whatever devices your team already carries and updates without an app store.

No lock-in

No data hostage-taking

Data portability is a design requirement, not a favour. Import works today; an export route and deletion workflow are still open items and are stated as such on the product status page.
